Achievement
Sub-Project on Mutation Breeding of Rice for Sustainable Agriculture

Sub-Project on Mutation Breeding of Rice for Sustainable Agriculture started in 2013. After 5-years activity, almost all participating countries have obtained promising mutant lines with useful traits such as high yield, early flowering and stress tolerance, which can contribute to the sustainable agriculture. Several new mutant varieties have been commercialized and generated a significant economic impact.

This Sub-Project was successfully terminated in 2018 and "Achievement, Sub-Project on Mutation Breeding of Rice for Sustainable Agriculture" was published in June, 2020.

You can download the reports below. We really hope that it would be useful material for the people involved in mutation breeding.
