During 4-9 December, 2006, Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) joined the 7 th scout jamboree at Sriracha District, Cholburi Province . Nuclear Technology exhibition were displayed in order to disseminate information to youngsters. There were around 10,000 people from all over Thailand attended this event.

During 4-8 December, 2006, Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP)
in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital and the International Atomic Energy Agency held the IAEA Noble Prize Special Event for Asia and the Pacific : Workshop on Human Resource Development in Radiation Oncology in the Context of Cancer Control Programs at Siriraj Hospital. The objective of the event was to give a chance for Thai radiologists to exchange views and experiences with foreign participants from 26 countries from Asia and the Pacific Region. There were around 90 people attended this event.
