8th FNCA Ministerial Level Meeting
Resolution of the 8th FNCA Ministerial Level Meeting

At the 8th Ministerial Level Meeting in Tokyo on December 18, 2007, we, FNCA member countries - Australia, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Kingdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, decided to implement the following FNCA activities:
- to hold the 9th Ministerial Level Meeting in the Philippines, the 9th Coordinator Meeting in Japan, and the 2nd Meeting of the Study Panel for Cooperation in the field of Nuclear Energy in Asia, in Japan in 2008,
- to cooperate in order to implement the 11 FNCA projects in 8 fields in accordance with the plans proposed by the 8th Coordinators Meeting in February, 2007,

- to follow-up the decision made at "the 1st Study Panel for Cooperation in the Field of Nuclear Energy in Asia" in Tokyo in October 2007, that is to share relevant information among FNCA member countries on human resource development (HRD) toward nuclear power introduction, such as academic programs and programs for training and early experience on building Nuclear Power Plant, by FNCA Internet communication and other means,
- to make efforts to disseminate the joint communiqué in each signatory country and the international community by various means such as announcement at the international conferences concerning global warming and to actively make efforts to implement provisions of the joint communiqué.
